The French Stall
Just two days back, My family and I went to MacPherson to have dinner. The name of the place: The French Stall.
The place is set among HDB flats and has a ‘kopitiam’ kinda feel to it. Although the place lacks that ‘posh’ facade to it, it sure makes it up with the food that it serves.
They are located at 83 MacPherson lane and 544 Serangoon Road.
The setting of the place...

Gardemanger DONE
Its been nearly 2 months of culinary practicum and I am quite pleased to say that I have improved my knowledge, and patience levels.
Gardemanger was definately awesome because of Chef Heinrich and his patience. Also because of that, the 10 of us bonded together quite well. Although I love the adrenaline that I can get from a “order” and ‘pick-up” stand point, gardemanger...

“What doesn’t kill you, only makes you stronger”
My time is spent so much more fruitfully as compared to the holidays. I get to do something I love, I get to meet more people, I get to try to be a true leader. I am blessed.
Culinary Practicum is said to be harsh and arduous, I see it differently. Culinary Practicum teaches and imparts skills applicable for the industry, but...
TCC
Where?: Airport Terminal 3 Departure Hall
I’ve always been skeptical about the portions offered at TCC and frankly speaking, its filling and you guys should go try it out. They have great stuff there. But if you were to go on a dinner, it’ll probably be expensive, so go during afternoons.
Few days back, I was at TCC with my family and it was quite an experience. Firstly, the seats...
Ma Maison
Its been quite a while since I blogged about food, but here it is; Ma Maison @ Bugis.
Ma Maison is a concept from Japan as a rustic and cosy diner.
It was a month ago when this restaurant was published on newspaper. So parents decided to go there to try the much and highly rated items.
As a side note before I actually start talking about the food there, things and food reviews on the newspapers...

I used blog about how life was giving me hell and situations that I was in. But as I grow older, all those things become more and more minor. I believe happiness lies in what we choose to perceive from external forces.

When you walked in..
Things can change drastically. Fragility of the human mind.
I’m single, I’m 18 and I’m changing.
You walked into my life, and I suddenly found it possible to love again.
However, now is not the time.
People come and go; will you stay?

Make damn sure.
Who’s to hold you when you were afraid of the dark? Who was the one who would wipe the tears of your face when you’ve fallen down? Who’s the one standing at the sidelines of your life, cheering and spurring you as you brushed her off?
I’ve abused my privilage for far too long

When it’s all said and done, you finally see your last sunset, What legacy will you leave behind? Will you look back at your life For that solitary second before you go, and say Blessed is my life, regardless of how much I have gone through? or will you say Give me more time, to make things right?
Everyone of us is like a raindrop, Water is the essence of life as similarly we are by bringing new people into the world. A Raindrop has a surface tension, Upon receiving pressure, the raindrop bursts. The raindrop also depicts our sometimes-too-transparent personality, However, look further into our personalities and find a beautiful person/picture; as though in the picture above.
What do you...

Supersize me! Make that JUMBO
Hi guys! Its another update from me on something that you can try when it comes to gastronomy. This time, my parents and I went over to Jumbo @ East Coast to do some serious CHOW- TIME. Awesome food there, I have to say. But there was a dish that was too salty. The BBQ-ed tilapia that we ordered was succlent in texture, and the meat was firm and moist, however, the only downfall of this 90%...

MOMOYA
Hey fellas, since i promised that I will take you guys by storm, I’m gonna start with a restaurant that i particular find the food quite nice.
Momoya was establish this year, somewhere around May. It has a nice ambience, nice japanese murals on the wall and a chic design to its restaurant. The best part about the restaurant is that for a price of SGD$30+, you are able to enjoy 100+ dishes....
