Culi Prac
“What doesn’t kill you, only makes you stronger”
My time is spent so much more fruitfully as compared to the holidays. I get to do something I love, I get to meet more people, I get to try to be a true leader. I am blessed.
Culinary Practicum is said to be harsh and arduous, I see it differently. Culinary Practicum teaches and imparts skills applicable for the industry, but does not impart life skills. Let me be the reminder that culinary practicum is NOTHING like the real world, where mistakes are taken on a heavier note.
First week of culinary practicum and it is very obvious that people have thoughts about how they are going to survive the next many weeks to come. Also, I see people who don’t belong in course and still are thinking they are “Kings and Queens”.
My opinion about people is as such: they should take initiative whenever possible. But some people are selfish and want to do their own things first. For the past week, that trait is transparent for me to see.
On a lighter note, Friday nights are awesome!
